Digital banking

Evolve digital banking platforms while live operations continue.

Digital banking channels need to evolve without disrupting live operations or losing the capabilities that already work. We develop web and mobile experiences and modernise the platforms behind them so new functionality can become usable in stages.

Digital channels create value when new functionality becomes available consistently across web, iOS and Android. We develop web and mobile applications on a shared technical foundation so the customer experience can evolve without implementing the same logic separately in every channel.

The real challenge often sits behind the interface: existing rules, data, integrations and distinctive capabilities must remain intact while the platform changes. We make these dependencies visible and create a transition that works within live operations.

This lets a bank start where the value is greatest and the risk remains manageable: with a new channel, an integration layer, a clearly bounded migration or preparation for a platform change. Nuitio can take ownership of a defined part or shape the transition jointly with the client team.

Selected projects

From our founders’ past and present work

Web and Mobile Banking

For a bank, the project extended an existing online-banking portal across web, iOS and Android without redeveloping its core functions for each channel. Reusable components kept customer access, communications and analytics consistent across all three.

The three-channel application is operational.

Digital Bank Integration Study

An established, independent digital bank considered closer integration with an existing banking platform without losing the functions that set it apart. The study compared integration paths and used prototypes to test the uncertain parts.

Senior management received a decision basis comparing every option, including the status quo.

Online Banking Integration Hub

A bank’s digital-banking division wanted to divide an existing online-banking platform into smaller, independently changeable applications without replacing everything at once. The hub gave new applications one shared integration point, reusable functions and documentation for development teams.

It is operational across the division and supports the gradual modularisation of the existing platform.

Online Banking Portal

For a bank, the project brought banking functions and services from several systems into one online portal. It also established the internal tools and processes needed to keep developing and releasing the portal.

The portal went live together with the tools and processes needed for its continued development.

CRM Migration

For a large Swiss bank, the project moved an established desktop CRM to the web. It replaced the interface, migrated the existing data model and implemented, tested and documented the CRM processes.

The complete solution went into operation.
